Our Initiatives

The Gussie Wortham Foundation Inc. initiatives include the following:

• Impact Without Limits: We have assisted the following states: Connecticut, South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia and Africa. We have donated funding and supplies to My Sister's Place,Interval House in Connecticut, the community of Saluda, South Carolina, Myrtle Beach High School, Ocean Bay Elementary School, Socastee Elementary School and the Dream Center in Conway, South Carolina.  Assisting Underserved and Underprivileged Communities and Urban Schools throughout the country is a part of our mission to assist communities and families in crisis.
• Kenny Anderson Top 64 Showcase On The Beach- The Gussie Wortham Foundation Inc. in collaboration with Former N.B.A. All-Star, High School,College All-American and 2x Beach Ball Classic M.V.P. Kenny Anderson with Socastee High School (where the Beach Ball Classic originated) being the host site where Student Athletes are  invited to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina from different parts of the country with the opportunity to compete for a chance to play at the Collegiate level.
• We are now in our second year as a Member Investor with the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. 
• Annual Hygiene Drive: Year round drive to assist 5 sites a year with the basic necessity some communities and families go without on the daily basis.
